The "VIDEOPRODUCTION" difference We were once students who made films just like you are. We are INDEPENDENT filmmakers just like you. We know your needs. Whatever works for you is what we will try to make happen. If you need us, call us from 9:00am - 10:00pm 365 days a year. If you need a camera on a Saturday, Sunday or Christmas, give us a call and we'll make it happen. If you have a problem of any kind with our equipment, call us and we will deal with it immediately. We can work within your budget; don't be afraid to make an offer for a particular camera package on specific dates. Most of the time, assuming the equipment is available, it's not a problem. It never hurts to ask.
We encourage a preproduction meeting with the client to discuss the equipment involved, pick-up/delivery dates and costs.
Hours of operation Normal business hours are from 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Equipment can be rented on Sundays; an additional fee of P1000 is added to the bill to bring staff in after hours. Feel free to call us 7 days a week and we'll have someone there whenever you need.
Crew At least one crew from VIDEOPRODUCTIONS is required to accompany the client as a caretaker/operator of the equipment. VIDEOPRODUCTIONS reserves the right to determine how many crew will it send depending on the equipment rented. Equipment prep We encourage an equipment prep. You are more than welcome to schedule an appointment to fully examine and test all equipment before pickup.
Pick-up/return The client is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of the rented equipment. Pick-up and return location
Damage It is very important to contact us immediately if something is damaged or not working correctly. We will correct the problem in a timely fashion no matter where you are located. We reserve the right to correct the problem, which means you must give us a call before contacting someone else to fix it . If we cannot fix the problem quickly enough, we will figure out how to get it fixed faster or replaced by us or from another vender for you.
Return conditionIn order to keep the integrity of our equipment, we have a thorough inspection of all equipment upon every return. This policy ensures good working equipment on your shoot as well as future shoots. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was picked up. If returned equipment needs professional cleaning, there will be a charge for this, see repair/replacement costs. Be careful when using the equipment in dusty or sandy environments. Ask for and use a rain cover to protect the camera and lenses. A typical camera cleaning to remove dust/dirt from switches or sliding doors costs approximately P6000. A lens cleaning can cost as much as P14,000 if sand, dirt or debris gets into the barrel and sounds rough or scratchy when focusing. This requires a complete dismantling of the lens to clean.
Repair/replacements The renter assumes full responsibility in any damage that may be incurred during the times that the equipment are in their possesion. The renter will shoulder the cost of repair/replacement of the damage according to the curren prevailing prices.
Rental days A rental day counts for 10 hours from time of equipment pick-up until the time of return. The hours can be extended on the spot depending if our next schedule would permit. Succeeding extended hours shall be charged per hour 10% of the equipment rental cost.
ex. a camera with a rental charge of P3500 shall have an additional fee of P350/hour of extension
Equipment must be booked at least 48hours before time of pick-up Payments We accept only cash payment. 50% downpayment upon booking 30% upon pick-up 20% upon return

A crane is useful for getting high shots, or shots which need to move a great distance horizontally or vertically, without the expense and safety issues of putting a camera operator on a crane or laying track for a dolly. A jib can even be mounted on a dolly for shots in which the camera moves over obstacles such as furniture, when a normal dolly shot could not be used. In cinematography, a crane is a boom device with a camera on one end, and a counterweight and camera controls on the other. It operates like a see-saw, but with the balance point located close to the counterweight, so that the camera end of the arm can move through an extended arc. A crane permits the camera to be moved vertically, horizontally, or a combination of the two. A jib is often mounted on a tripod or similar support. Think of a shot that goes from a worm's eyeview then lifts and flies up to 10 feet high to a bird's eyeview. This camera crane adds professional look to your project in half the price of what commercial rigs offer. Lightweight and assembles in less than five minutes. Perfect for adding drama to your narrative, music video or even the fast paced set-up of documentaries. Can mount cameras up to 4lbs in weight. rate: P4500/dayincludes: LCD director's monitor, tripod skilled operator click here for more pictures click here for sample videos
Handheld walking shots will glide smoothly in this camera rig. Greatly reduces unnecessary camera shakes. This stabilizer is perfect for following action in tight spaces without the need for laying tracks. It Will add a smooth motion in shots inconceivable in handheld cameras. Can carry standard cameras upto 8lbs. rate: P400/day
