The Question is, would you rather stay asleep, floating in an absurd fantasy or be in control consciously in the real world?

Hot PandeSayn members explore that fascinating and mysterious place between personal fantasy and the inevitable reality. Feel free to experience four different "blurrealities". Each is an individual expression of discovery and self-exploration, of repressed dreams and funny fantasies. Some are whimsically illogical, some bizarre, even comedic. Each piece holds a deeply personal meaning hidden beneath a seemingly nonsense aesthetic.

“Sining TULAY” a mobile public exhibit
Photobucket
UGNAYAN Youth Artist Network believes art should not be confined in cold museums or in sheltered galleries. Artworks should be available for the people to appreciate. “Sining Tulay” is open for the public to witness.

“Sining Tulay” aims to bridge the wide gap between the arts and the masses. It aims to connect, arouse and educate people.

“Sining Tulay” is an art exhibit that will tackle the conceptual and physical interpretations of “bridges” as connectors of disjointed spaces whether physical, emotional, economic or political. It is a visual display of young artist’s interpretations of his role in effecting social change. It calls on photographers to display photos. It calls on graphic artists to bring their works, poets to exhibit their printed poems, sculptors to mount installations.

“Sining Tulay” is mobile. It invites artists to create movable artworks and showcase them in the given times and locations. “Sining Tulay” exhibits will take place in a crowded bridge in the busiest hour of the busiest day. An exhibit will last a maximum of one hour, enough to be viewed by more people than an artwork in a museum for a month.

“Sining Tulay” is expanding. It aims to draw a larger number of participant artists as the exhibits travels from different locations around Metro Manila.

“Sining Tulay” schedules and locations:
Feb 22, 2010…………5:00pm………….North Ave. footbridge
March 8, 2010…………To be announced
March 22, 2010………..To be announced
April 5, 2010…………… To be announced

Emil, I like your guerilla workflow. Keep up the good work. While I do not have the luxury of time right now - it might be fun to work on a few shorts with you, if you have some cool projects let me know and I'd handle the vfx for you. And oh - I'm not in for the money though - just cool projects for cool people!

Regards,
